tipton, former security security director at the multi state lottery association was convicted of fraud for rigging the hot lotto jackpot. tipton tried claiming the 16 million prize for himself back in december of 2010. the main evidence - this quik trip video surveillance showing tipton buying the ticket himself. "he was caught, if that video didn't exsist, who knows if hed be there and this still going on" now the crawford mauro lawfirm has filed a landmark lawsuit- stating by allowing tipton to rig the jackpot- the iowa lottery and multi state association deprived the legitmate hot lotto winner millions of dollars. "the odds arent exactly great,if you actually win you should get your prize" attorneys are asking the courts to award their client - larry dawson, of webster city- 10 million dollars, plus interset. they say, after tipton's rigging in december of 2010, the lottery reset to 1 million. meaning when, dawson won on may 7th 2011, instead of 16 million he won 6 according to the lottery rules published, the jackpot is to carry over, until a legitmate winner is

attorneys are also questioning the iowa lottery and multi state associations security and surveillance protocols. they're unsure if mr. dawson's is the only case rigged by eddie tipton. the driver who hit carstensen. jack/lam: on the campaign trail today, they're dropping like flies! rand paul and rick santorum both suspended their presidential bids. and some nasty allegations are flying against the winner of the iowa caucuses: ted cruz. today- donald trump- once again on the attack- tweeting- (gfx tweet) ted cruz didn't win iowa, he stole it. (gfx tweet)..calling for a "new election" in iowa after the cruz campaign sent out this e-mail to supporters- falsely suggesting doctor ben carson was leaving the race. trump telling boston herald radio - he plans to file an official complaint. sot "its fraud..when you think of it and he picked up a lot of those votes and that's why the polls were wrong." cruz- responding - sot: it seems his reaction to everything is to throw a fit, to engage in insults and i understand that donald finds it very hard to lose, also tweeting- "bernie is contesting" iowa results. maybe donald should go back to iowa and join the democrats.

discuss a growing threat: the zika virus. stephanie/ram: the cdc is expected to issue new guidelines in response to an alarming new case in this outbreak. health officials now report the virus has spread from person to person by sexual transmission, not by mosquito.. and it happened in texas.. abc's elizabeth hur has the latest. " " a disturbing development out of dallas.. in the battle against the zika virus.. ((sot)) dr besser gma "they report that it was spread through sexual transmission. an individual went abroad, acquired the virus and came and infected their partner." while the virus transmitting through sex is rare.. it is not.. unheard of here in the u-s.. turns out.. back in 2008.. a traveler infected with the zika virus in senegal returned home to colorado and his wife later tested positive for the virus. still.. officials say this is the first case of sexual transmission in this current outbreak. they also call this latest case out of dallas.. a game changer because the virus.. with possible links to birth defects in unborn babies and
